Coronavirus Scams Update
The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) released guidance to guard against Internet fraud and cybercrime specifically related to COVID-19. You can learn more about these scams and how to defend against them here:
The FBI also issues warnings to parents, educators, caregivers, and children about the dangers of online sexual exploitation. Due to school closings as a result of COVID-19, children potentially have an increased online presence and/or be in a position that places them at an inadvertent risk.
